We are currently looking to fill a number of positions with bright and enthusiastic technology-lovers to deliver our hands-on STEM-focused educational programming to Mi’kmaq youth across Nova Scotia.
Empower and inspire Mi’kmaq youth to learn critical digital skills; gain experience in facilitating and teaching a series of workshops for elementary, middle, and/or high school students; receive training in various technologies, including Scratch, 3D Modeling, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data; build your network of technical and tech-savvy people across the province; share your experience in, and love of, technology and digital skills with First Nations students.

These positions offering a daily rate of $160 or a monthly salary of $3,200.
With curriculum developed and supported by subject experts the educational facilitators will be responsible for teaching and assisting students by answering questions, keeping them engaged, and providing supplemental instruction when necessary within a classroom setting.
Instructors will all work as a team in the delivery of our day long enriched STEM-focused digital programs.
We are looking for part-time Digital Room Coordinators for our permanent Digital Mi'kmaq Maker Labs throughout Nova Scotia.
This is a part-time $20/hr position averaging 10-12 hrs/wk.
These programs will run on Saturdays and encompass various areas such as, animation, computer science, engineering, big data, short film making, robotics and artificial intelligence. These STEM-focused programs will operate out of our new fully resourced on Reserve Digital Maker Labs.
