Data Collector (Temporary Position)

Assist Digital Mi’kmaq with on-reserve communities in measuring the effectiveness of our initiative through a community-wide survey. We are looking for responsible individuals to help gather information for this important project.

Compensation:

  • $20/hour for up to 30 hours of work over a 2-3 day period

Start Date:

  • Early October (Approx. 3 open position per community)

  • Acadia First Nation

  • Annapolis Valley First Nation

  • Bear River First Nation

  • Eskasoni First Nation

  • Glooscap First Nation

  • Millbrook First Nation

  • Membertou First Nation

  • Paq’tnkek First Nation

  • Pictou Landing First Nation

  • Potlotek First Nation

  • Sipekne’katik First Nation

  • Wagmatcook First Nation

  • We’koqma’q First Nation

Qualifications:

  • All employees will be trained commencing, October 4th, 2019 in Halifax, NS.

  • We will cover cost of travel, lodgings and meals for the training session, which will take place in Digital Mi’kmaq’s new offices on the Halifax waterfront.

  • Must be 17 years of age or older

  • No previous experience required

  • Must be able to walk long distances

  • Comfortable going door-to-door speaking with residents
